Tattoo magic mushrooms are a Psilocybe cubensis strain that runs at the very top of our potency range — Cup-tier territory alongside TWAPE and T Mac. This is not a strain to underestimate. Compact, densely-pigmented fruits with heavy blue bruising deliver a sharp, weighty come-up and deep ego work through the peak. Advanced psychonauts only.
The morphology is a giveaway. Fruits come in with rich caramel-to-mahogany caps, thick dense stems, and steady pigmentation across the flush — but the standout characteristic is heavy blue bruising on handling. Blue bruising is a visible indicator of psilocybin oxidizing on contact with air, and Tattoo bruises hard. Fruits are compact rather than tall, with substantial density that carries serious dose weight per gram. Treat every fruit like it counts — because at this potency, it does.
The Tattoo experience is sharp and immersive. Onset runs fast for a cubensis — typically 20–35 minutes for a full-experience dose. The come-up carries weight from the first minute, widening into rich open-eye visuals with layered geometry and deep color saturation. Closed-eye visuals run vivid and architectural rather than gentle and organic. The peak brings genuine ego work, dense body presence, and a headspace that pushes into non-ordinary states rather than staying reflective and casual. Duration typically runs 5–6 hours with a heavy, integrated afterglow.
Tattoo is an Advanced, Extreme-potency strain. Dose 30–50% lower than standard cubensis. First-time Tattoo dose: 1g or less. Full-experience dose for experienced users: 1.5–2.0g.
