What Is An Edible Actually Made Of
A quality mushroom edible starts with ground dried Psilocybe cubensis. That powder is blended into a fat base (chocolate), a gelatin or pectin matrix (gummies), or a liquid solvent (syrup, honey, coffee). Every finished piece is portioned to a target dose — typically 250mg, 500mg, or 1g dried-equivalent per piece — and packaged with total psilocybin content and per-piece dose printed on the label.
The mushrooms in an edible do the same thing they do dry: deliver psilocybin. The format changes onset speed, flavor experience, and dose portioning but not the underlying compound or its effects. Dosing Edibles Correctly

Gummies onset second-fastest (20–45 minutes) because the sugar matrix dissolves quickly. Chocolates take 20–40 minutes on empty stomach, longer with food, and deliver a warm rounded curve thanks to cocoa fat and theobromine.
Can I combine edibles? Combining brands or types (a chocolate square plus a gummy) is fine as long as you tally the total dose.
