Where should I start? If you are new to psilocybin, read the microdosing guide first. It covers dose vocabulary, safety framework, common protocols (Fadiman, Stamets, Nightcap), and how to schedule a 30-day trial. Even if you plan a full dose later, the microdosing guide gives you the foundation.

How is dosing measured? By dried-weight grams. Microdose: 0.1–0.3g. Museum dose: 0.3–1g. Threshold: 1–2g. Standard recreational: 2–3.5g (one eighth). Heroic dose: 4–5g and up. Weigh with a 0.01g precision scale — kitchen scales are too coarse.

What about set and setting? Set (mindset) and setting (environment) predict outcomes more strongly than dose size.
