About This Strain
Albino Riptide magic mushrooms are the leucistic (albino) phenotype of Tidal Wave — the celebrated Psilocybe cubensis cross of B+ x Penis Envy that took first place at the 2022 Oakland Hyphae Psilocybin Cup with 3.82% total tryptamines, one of the highest verified potencies ever recorded in a cubensis strain.
Riptide inherits Tidal Wave's Cup-tier potency in a ghostly-white form. Fruits emerge with pale, almost translucent caps and creamy stems that bruise deep blue when handled — a strong visual signature of psilocybin content. Expect the same intense, ocean-wave surges of visuals and mood that made Tidal Wave famous, delivered in a strikingly beautiful albino package.
What to expect: Rolling, wave-like visuals, deep emotional and introspective states, moderate body load, and a long duration (5–7 hours). The onset is fast and the peak arrives with real force — set and setting matter.
Best for: Experienced psychonauts, intentional journey work, users familiar with Penis Envy or Tidal Wave genetics. Not recommended for first-time users.
Potency: Very High / Extreme — Cup-tier, on par with parent Tidal Wave. A 1g Riptide dose can feel closer to a 2.5–3g dose of standard cubensis. Start at 0.5–1g.
