White Billy is a lighter-pigmented variant in the Hillbilly family of Psilocybe cubensis. Like other low-pigment strains, White Billy expresses reduced melanin in the cap and stem, giving the fruit a pale ivory-to-cream coloration rather than the standard caramel of its parent stock. The specific origin and breeder are not publicly documented — White Billy circulates as a community-passed strain in cultivator networks.
Fruits are small-to-medium with conical caps that flatten as they mature, set on slim white stems. The cap surface is noticeably paler than standard Hillbilly — closer to off-white than caramel — though the gill structure and overall fruit body shape remain consistent with the family. Bruising is mild blue under handling. Like its parent line, White Billy colonizes quickly and fruits reliably across flushes.
The experience profile mirrors Hillbilly — warm, grounded, and beginner-friendly. Onset is standard (30–45 minutes), peak around 75–90 minutes, total duration 4–5 hours. Visuals are mild, the headspace stays articulate, and the body load is light. White Billy is a reasonable everyday strain for users who prefer a lower-intensity experience, and a comfortable first or second strain for newer psilocybin users.
Because of the medium potency, White Billy is classified Beginner in our system. First-time users can start at the lower end of the dose range; experienced users typically dose at the upper end. Microdose protocols use 100–150 mg every 3–4 days, comparable to the standard 100 mg for cubensis.
